CEO/Founder, Champion Training/Team Torres Martial Arts;  Director/Founder, North American Federation of Martial Arts;  Publisher, Action Martial Arts Magazine and Martial Arts Xperience Magazine; Host/Creator, Video podcast series The Martial Arts Xperience.

Grandmaster Jose L. Torres II is celebrating his 39th year in the martial arts. From his early childhood training at a traditional Tang Soo Do school to now with a museum full of accolades, his life has evolved around the martial arts, youth, and the family unit. He has taken those core values overseas through international events via his NAFMA (established in 2003) and Tang Soo Do International (2009) organizations. Competitors from all over the world have attended his events as he has refused to lower his standards because, as he sees it, the youth today deserve no less.

As an author, he is excited to tell “His Story” and share his experience with the masses. This Legacy Book Vol. 1 will serve as the beginning of this new publication journey. He is currently certified as an 8th Degree Black Belt in the martial arts of Tang Soo Do.

He serves on the World Tang Soo Do General Federation board as the Vice-President of Senior Masters Society and its Caribbean Director for Tang Soo Do. His martial arts studio- Team Torres, recently celebrated its 21st year of business and received a proclamation from the Burlington County Freeholders in NJ that April 24 is officially “Team Torres Day” in Burlington County.
